What happens to your data
No cookies, no tracking, no analytics, no accounts. This page covers the website and documentation at uniwire.sh, the web editor at uniwire.sh/viewer and the hosted MCP server at mcp.uniwire.sh.
Website and documentation
Static pages. The web server logs the time, the page requested, the response status and size, the referring page and the browser's user agent. It does not log IP addresses. Logs are rotated and kept a few days at most, to operate and secure the service.
Web editor
The editor runs the uniwire library in your browser. What you type or open stays on your device: the current draft is kept in your browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time. A link whose document comes after #doc= is never sent to the server: the browser keeps that part of the address to itself. A short link (#d=…) makes the editor fetch its document from uniwire.sh (see below).
To run the library, the editor downloads Pyodide from cdn.jsdelivr.net, the code editor from esm.sh and, for PDF export, a package from pypi.org. Those services see your IP address like any website you visit.
Hosted MCP server
Assistants (ChatGPT, Claude and others) send the server the documents they build so that it can validate, check and draw them. To give you short links that survive being copied into a chat, the server stores each document it returns a link for. A stored document is deleted 30 days after its last use, or earlier when storage is full. Anyone who has a link can open its document: do not put personal data (names, addresses, phone numbers) in documents sent through an assistant.
The server logs which tool was called, the outcome and the duration. It does not log IP addresses or the content of documents. The assistant you use has its own privacy policy for your conversation.
Who receives data
No one, apart from the providers needed to run the service: the hosting provider of the server (in France) and Cloudflare, which carries the traffic to the site and the MCP server and therefore processes connection data (Cloudflare privacy policy). Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask for a stored document to be deleted before its 30 days are up (send its link), and exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection under the GDPR by writing to the contact below. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
